We are a family-owned roofing company with 12 years of roofing experience and more than 3,000 completed projects on homes and commercial buildings across North Jersey. Our motto is on our logo: Shelter With Confidence.
Who we are
A local roofer that does both kinds of roof
Most roofing companies pick a lane. They do houses or they do commercial buildings. We do both, because North Jersey has both on every block: a shingled colonial next to a two-family with a flat rear roof, around the corner from a row of stores under one long membrane.
That range makes us better at each. Flat-roof experience is why our porch roofs and dormer tie-ins do not leak. Steep-roof experience is why we can handle the shingled mansard on a commercial building.
How we work
What Shelter With Confidence means to us
- Tell the truth about the roof. If a repair will do, we recommend a repair. You see the photos that led us there.
- Put it in writing. Scope, materials by name, price and warranty terms, before any work starts.
- Build the whole system. Decking, underlayment, flashing, ventilation, shingles or membrane. No skipped layers.
- Follow the manufacturer’s instructions. That is what protects your product warranty.
- Work safely and leave it clean. Crews tied off, property protected, nails picked up.
- Be easy to reach. A local number, free written estimates and a call back.
Warranty
Our warranty, in plain terms
Every permanent roof repair and every replacement comes with a written workmanship warranty from ProTech. New materials also carry the manufacturer’s warranty where it applies. The terms are in your contract before work starts.
- Residential roof replacement: minimum 15-year workmanship warranty, longer depending on the roofing product, plus the manufacturer’s limited warranty on the shingles.
- Commercial roof replacement or recover: 5-year workmanship warranty, plus a manufacturer system warranty of 15 to 30 years where the roof qualifies, depending on the membrane and how it is installed.
- Repairs, home or commercial: minimum 2-year workmanship warranty on the repaired area, longer on some repairs depending on the age and condition of the roof. Emergency tarps and temporary patches are not covered. New materials carry the manufacturer’s warranty where it applies.
Credentials
Registered and insured in New Jersey
New Jersey requires every home improvement contractor to register with the Division of Consumer Affairs, carry commercial general liability insurance and display its registration number on advertising and contracts. Ours is NJ HIC Reg. #13VH12667100. You can verify any contractor’s registration with the Division (opens in a new tab) before you sign.
We carry general liability and workers’ compensation insurance, and we are glad to send a certificate of insurance to you, your property manager or your lender before work begins.
We install products from Owens Corning, GAF, Carlisle, Elevate (formerly Firestone Building Products), Mule-Hide and Versico, among others. Your proposal names the exact product and the manufacturer’s warranty that comes with it.
